Susan Langmore

Dr. Langmore holds a joint appointment as professor of otolaryngology at Boston University Medical Center and clinical professor, speech language and hearing sciences, Sargent College, at Boston University. At Sargent College, she teaches dysphagia, motor speech disorders, advanced dysphagia and mentors masters and doctoral students. Dr. Langmore is probably best known in the speech pathology community for developing the FEES procedure to evaluate dysphagia. Her research in aspiration pneumonia is also widely cited. She is a fellow of ASHA and was given the Honors of the Association in 2012.
