Telly Sellars, PhD, is the coordinator of counseling and associate professor at Jefferson Community and Technical College in Louisville, Kentucky, where he mentors at-risk college students and serves in several leadership roles. He is also a specialty trainer with the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services. Telly was born and raised in Lynch, a coal mining community in southeastern Kentucky. He was previously employed at Spalding University becoming the Executive Director of Admission at age 26 and has more than 20 years' experience in higher education. He also serves on the Executive Board of the Cornerstone Child Development Center in Louisville, Kentucky, and the Transit Authority of River City - Accessibility Quality Control Committee. Dr. Sellars has conducted workshops and presentations on topics such as leadership, communication and motivation. He currently lives in Louisville, Kentucky with his wife, Heather and three daughters.
