Ruben Diaz, MA, CCC-SLP, is a bilingual (Spanish-English) speech-language pathologist and audiologist from Colombia, South America. He was a professor of feeding disorders and child language development at the Catholic University of Colombia for five years before coming to the United States. He attended the University of Cincinnati to obtain his master's degree in 2001. Until 2013, Mr. Diaz was a team leader of the Multicultural-Diversity and Bilingual Resource Committee, a group of clinicians that provide permanent support to staff speech-language pathologist at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Currently, he is a full-time acute speech-language pathologist at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, where he continues to provide services for adult and pediatric patients with swallowing disorders.
