Ms. Mason is the director of the audiology professional practices unit at the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). This unit reaches out to audiologists in clinical practice and education by providing up-todate resources and professional consultation through electronic newsletters, annual publications and individually on the telephone, in email or in person at professional meetings. Ms. Mason serves on ASHA's strategic objective team to advance Interprofessional education and Interprofessional collaborative practice. She has extensive experience in working with the media and has provided numerous interviews related to hearing-tinnitus-balance deficits for ASHA.
