The purpose of this research study was to determine how technology, specifically stories on tablets affect the reading comprehension of preschoolers. There are two major modalities used to read in today's society: print using a physical book and technology such as tablets, computers and smartphones. Living in a world with continuous technological advances, it is important to determine if technology can improve the literacy skills of developing preschoolers.
