This interactive session will teach participants to bridge the gap between online technology and face-to-face intervention. A review of the evolution of telepractice will lead to an exploration of current trends, legal implications, evidence-based practice and the potential for setting up services as a telepractitioner. Participants will have direct observation of software currently being used in the profession, with the potential for hands-on exposure. Attendees are encouraged to bring personal smart phones and/or personal laptop computers with internet capability in order to fully benefit from this session.
