Our world is becoming increasingly diverse. Speech-language pathologists are often tasked with conducting speech and language assessments of children who do not yet speak English with proficiency. This presentation will delve into the complexities of dual language learning. We will discuss typical characteristics of dual language learners, methods for evaluating this population and ways of reducing test bias in our assessments.
