Sunday, 7:15am to 8:15am
Windgate Hall
SP61
Research shows that singers are at a higher risk for vocal pathologies, including those studying vocal music at the college level. Because of this, it is important for singers to understand vocal anatomy, physiology, and vocal pathologies. The purpose of this study is to indicate whether or not there is a need for more education of vocal anatomy, phsiology, and vocal pathologies in vocal music majors at a university in Missouri. The students will be asked to complete a questionnaire with 15 questions on vocal anatomy, physiology, and vocal pathologies. The students will have 20 minutes to complete the questionnaire.
