Windgate Hall
SP55
The purpose of this study was to investigate the use of social stories in Missouri's public schools by speech-language pathologists and teachers. Teachers and speech-language pathologists were surveyed through links that directed the participants to the survey posted on SurveyMonkey. The links to the survey questionnaire were posted on the Missouri Speech-Language Hearing Association and Missouri State Teachers Association listserves in order to recruit participants. Results will include the characteristics of the individuals for whom social stories are used, how social stories are implemented and the practitioners' perceptions of social story efficacy.
