This session will address the development of the professional resume. Emphasis will be focused on developing unique, professional documents that highlight individual achievement and skills obtained during graduate education and experiences that may be directly or indirectly related to the professions. Paper and online job applications will be addressed. Students are asked to bring a list of educational and vocational experiences that could be used to develop their first professional resume. Drafts of resumes will be used to illustrate strategies to improve documents. Etiquette and strategies for maximizing success in personal interviews will be included in this session. This session is not offered for ASHA CEUs.
