On-Phase and Off-Phase Speech Measures in Individuals With Parkinson's Disease

Differences in speech performance in Parkinson's patients has not been systematically evaluated when patients perceive themselves to be on-phase and off-phase with their medications. This study presents diadochokinetic rates and maximum sustained vowel prolongation in both conditions. Results and clinical implications will be discussed.
