The purpose of this project is to investigate the effectiveness of phonemic cueing on word production. Phonemic cueing aids the aphasic client in word recall and minimizing apraxic behaviors by seeing slow productions of the word in front of them. For this project, the phonemic cues will be provided by the clinician and a Lingraphica: Small Talk Aphasia single-phoneme video (a close-up view of the mouth only). This project will investigate the effectiveness of video cueing versus typical clinician cues to determine which is more effective.
