Effect of Using a Mirror on Consonant Production

This study examines whether using a mirror as visual feedback in therapy will affect the number of consonants an adult with cognitive impairment produces. The study is a single-subject ABAB withdraw design. Ten functional words were chosen, and with use of the mirror, the subject produced more consonants in the target words than prior to treatment.
