The purpose of this study is to determine if the use of physical objects, presented in person along with associated pictures, will increase the percentage of communication attempts produced by a severe aphasia client during therapy provided by the TeleHealth language therapy system. This single-subject study is an ABA withdrawal design in which the client will be provided with pictures of objects during the collection of baseline, and then be provided with corresponding physical objects during the treatment phase. A comparison of these phases will be utilized to compare the effectiveness of pictures compared to objects in therapy.
