Speech-language pathologist derived treatment of Parkinson's patients should encompass more than voice and dysarthria. This presentation will provide treatment techniques that address excess drooling, excess laryngeal mucous, voice, respiration, facial expression and big motor movements. Therapy techniques discussed will include use of the VisiPitch, Timed Swallow Program, Respiratory Muscle Training, tongue twisters, stapled sentences, as well as other techniques that are efficacious with this population.
