This poster presents a compendium of surgical procedures that may be used in treatment of cleft lip/palate. Surgeries will be described, functions identified and effects on speech, if any, will be indicated. A general timeline for the various procedures will be provided. The compendium is intended to be a general resource for the speech-language pathologist who may be unfamiliar with care for the child with cleft palate with or without cleft lip.
