The purpose of this project was to determine if the use of Delayed Auditory Feedback (DAF) while reading a passage will have a carryover effect on the conversational rate of speech of a dysarthric client. The client studied in this research was a 53-year-old male diagnosed with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy presenting with ataxic dysarthria. This project was a single-subject, ABA withdrawal design. During the treatment phase, the client participated in the Delayed Auditory Feedback module on the Visi-Pitch program while reading a passage. The researcher then recorded data on the client's conversational rate of speech and compared it with the client's baseline conversational rate of speech. Results of this research and implications for further intervention strategies will be shared.
