First year outcomes of a study of the use of Bug-In-The-Ear technology by undergraduate and graduate students in a community-based clinic and their supervisors will be reported. This technology allows the clinical supervisor without physically entering the treatment room to provide immediate verbal feedback through wireless transmission to the student-clinician. Positive and negative perceptions of student-clinicians and supervisors toward the use of this technology will be reported. The contribution of this technology toward student learning outcomes will be discussed.
