Leigh Anne Roden-Carrier, EdD, CCC-SLP, is a clinical assistant professor at Western Kentucky University. She completed the director of special education endorsement, autism certificate and doctorate in educational leadership at Western Kentucky University. Dr. Roden-Carrier spent the majority of her clinical career as a speech-language pathologist in the school setting where she served on a number of committees regarding autism, transition services and response to intervention, due process documentation, record reviews and continuous monitoring process. She has worked part-time in acute care, outpatient rehabilitation services, long-term care, private practice and birth-three home-based services. As a clinical assistant professor, she supervises graduate students in the clinical setting and teaches a variety of courses.
