The goal of Kentucky's new Professional Growth and Effectiveness System PGES is for every student to be taught by an effective educator and every school led by an effective leader. One portion of the PGES system is to meet the unique needs of other professionals such as librarians, counselors, speech-language pathologists, psychologists and instructional coaches. This session will provide an in-depth view on the components and requirements of PGES and how other professionals, OPGES, will be involved. Documents and requirements for the OPGES pilot will be shared and discussed. The session is targeted to all administration levels and to any other professional" whether or not they participate in the OPGES pilot during the 2014-2015 school year."
