Friday, 9:45am to 11:15am
Room 219/218
Session 59
From birth to kindergarten, speech-language pathologists have an opportunity to positively impact pre-readiness skills. Learn fun, hands-on strategies that will improve phonemic awareness, grapheme identification, and vocabulary and language skills. Use a variety of multi-sensory strategies to build phonemic awareness skills and prepare students to be reading fluently before they begin kindergarten. Strategies will help in early intervention, pre-school and primary grades. This is a fun, hands-on session that encourages collaboration between therapists and teachers.
