This session will address how the passage and ongoing implementation of the Affordable Care Act has and will impact, audiology and speech-language pathology practice with some additional information about rehabilitation and habilitation. Challenges and opportunities for the profession will be addressed as well as specific opportunities to engage stakeholders at the national, state and local level. Other recent federal policy changes impacting practice and reimbursement will also be discussed.
